Tutorial [Ultimate Guide] How to Write a Runescape Injection Bot

Happy easter! Hope you had a good time with your family. I can see that you've added the client jar itself to the referenced libraries. That changes things a little. This is how you're able to reference the Game class, and other classes from that jar file as well. I didn't actually do this in...

Tutorial [Ultimate Guide] How to Write a Runescape Injection Bot

It's nice to see someone who's being thorough. Before I explain, let me just warn you that it's been a while since I wrote this tutorial, so I don't remember everything that's going on in the tutorial. Because it's been such a long time, I'm definitely susceptible to making mistakes. You are...

Tutorial [Ultimate Guide] How to Write a Runescape Injection Bot

Hey, thanks man! I'm glad you like the tutorial. The main reason why we're casting the Game instance to an Applet type is because we want to add the applet to the JFrame via the add method. So, yes, we're casting it to an applet because the add method requires a Container type, which the Applet...

Tutorial [C#] How to Merge Audio Files with NAudio

Thanks. :) Yeah, I did something similar when writing an automatic watermark adder. I don't have the source anymore unfortunately, but have a look at OffsetSampleProvider (link). That should be the answer to your question.

    We Made a Discord!

Hey guys! We made the decision a few days ago to make a discord server for our forum. With the new thread feature on Discord, we figured that it was time to start taking advantage of that platform to grow Ectotalk even further. We invite you to join the Discord group, especially if you need help...

Tutorial [Ultimate Guide] How to Write a Runescape Injection Bot

Although I'm impressed that you're taking on such a big project so quickly, I think you might underestimate just how hard it is, especially if you're planning on making a client for the real game. I have personally tested everything in my tutorial, and I've made sure it works. Depending on what...

Make 2021 A Great Year For Yourself

Man, 2020 was one shitty year. At least overall. I actually did accomplish a few things, and this forum had more eyes on it than I initially anticipated. I didn't really push myself much last year, and I'd like to do that this year. Maybe you, the person reading this, should consider doing the...

Need help getting loader/bot to function for RSC

Thanks for your input. I should've added a disclaimer to my tutorial informing people that what they do with the knowledge I give them is their responsibility alone, and that the tutorial is solely for educational purposes only. We don't want any beef. :p

    C# Using C# with Arduino

I assume that it's quite a bit faster, but it's honestly just because I want to code at the lowest level for educational purposes. :p

    C# Using C# with Arduino

I've been wanting to fiddle with an Arduino for quite some time now, maybe I'll get one myself. I'd rather use C though, even though I like C# better in general. :p

Need help getting loader/bot to function for RSC

Did you import the classes that you're using? And I think you might be underestimating the difficulty of your project. :p Writing a bot from scratch requires pretty deep knowledge not only of the Java programming language, but also of the internals of the JVM itself. Try and familiarize...

Need help getting loader/bot to function for RSC

You didn't put the code in a method. xD I'm sorry if this comes across as rude, but are you new to coding? Because if you don't know the basics yet, then I highly doubt you'll be able to finish your project as it's quite advanced. It might be a better idea to make sure you master the language...

Need help getting loader/bot to function for RSC

Try removing the setAccesible line, and also the getDeclaredConstructor line. Replace it with this and see if it works: Applet applet = (Applet) clazz.newInstance(); If it doesn't work, please post the entire code of your MadBot class, and I'll have a closer look. :)

Need help getting loader/bot to function for RSC

Because I'm unfamiliar with the code of the particular client you're using, I can't promise that my advice will be very helpful; I'll try my best though! So, from looking at the code you posted, your client might actually be less complicated than the one used in the tutorial. You might not...

    A Post-Singularity World

Indeed. It'll be the first time ever where a non-human entity on Earth has superior cognitive abilities. I don't think people will hand over the control to AI willingly, that's for sure. But do we have a choice in the matter, that's an interesting question. :p

Interesting! If you make any progress, feel free to post it in a thread in the programming forum; I'd love to see. And thank you, I really tried to go above and beyond with this tutorial. :)

It definitely should work, yes. Try clicking File -> Invalidate caches, and then restart the IDE. Also, do you use the visitMaxs and visitEnd methods anywhere else in the program?
