For me, this one is pretty easy. I was absolutely obsessed with Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube. Actually, I was obsessed with Sonic in general to the point where I forced my siblings to call me Sonic. Yep, it's true.

What about you?

I never got into Sonic myself, more of a mario guy myself. As for my favorite childhood game; it's Zelda: Ocarina of Time for sure. I never much past the first boss because i couldn't find out where to go but i played it EVERYDAY for like a year or two. As for what i did ? Made a new save, killed the first boss and then just mess around. I remember once that we had to lend the Nintendo away to a cusin and when we got the game back i was completely awestruck. He had completed the entire game.

I didn't play OoT anymore after that :(

I've never completed a Zelda game myself, but I love the games nonetheless. Man, I remember I used to explore games way more back when I was a kid. Instead of looking for the quickest path to completion, I would investigate my own routes. I miss those days. These days I satisfy my craving for exploration by exploring the source code of games and programs with a disassembler/decompiler.

I used to play a lot of racing games back in the days, especially the old NFS Underground and Most Wanted hold a very special place in my heart.

Ayy, NFS:U! that's the stuff.
You ever play Gran Turismo? I found myself to be playing that a lot more due to the modifications of your vehicles and it had auto-play before it was cool (hated?)

I've never owned a PlayStation, so I haven't played Gran Turismo.

Oh man, NFS Underground brings me back. I used to play that game so much. I was pretty obsessed with this racing simulator game a few years back called LFS, good stuff.
